Social sport

Play for fun – whatever your experience

Our social sport programme gives you the chance for students and staff to take part in different sports in a relaxed non-competitive environment, whether that’s trying something new or playing your favourite sport.

Unless specified all our sessions are open to everyone, but we do offer some women’s only sessions as well.

With loads of sessions each week, you can develop your skills, or simply turn up and play. All sessions are on a pay-as-you-go basis from £2.50.

Please note: New for 2023/24 – All our social sport sessions must be booked online. You will not be able to purchase a social session over the counter or turn up without a booking - bookings close at the time of the session starting. To book sessions you must have an account. When creating a new account please select Pay As You Go during setup.
