Here’s my manifesto for health and safety officer!
I have loved my first year of korf... even though I’ve spent half of it injured. So to try and stop this happening to people next year I want to be your health and safety officer.
My degree is in health & wellbeing so I like to think I know a bit about first aid and won’t be scared to deal with any cuts n bruises! Also as a medical school reject I think it’s only fair I get to live my dream for at least a year.
Jokes aside, I really want to make sure those with injuries are taking the necessary steps to recover. I know from my own injuries how important it is to follow medical advice in order to have a speedy / permanent recovery! I will advise coaches to make sure their players are 100% fit to come back to training & matches.
I think I’d bring some good ideas to committee meetings and overall it would be great to be even more involved with the best (looking) club at Hallam!
