What makes Rugby excellent? Why are we the best club at Hallam?
You might say it is the history of the sport, its culture and values of respect, commitment, and perseverance. You are wrong. It has nothing to do with the shape of the ball or any catchy slogan, it is the people, it is you, it is the brotherhood we are part of and fight for on and off the field.
This is why I will run for social secretary, to give something back to you. In the short time I have been at Hallam I have met top blokes left right and centre from our early fresher nights out as well as from team socials and trainings.
So as Social Secretary what are my pledges? Aside from the expected pub crawls and club nights I will host weekly house parties and themed nights as well as pre drinks and after parties as well as organising Hallam Nation each Wednesday and a Molly Malones Monday, a BBQ and day drinking every fortnight through Summer and Autumn and I will work closely with the rest of the team to organises weekend trips such as paintball, hiking, surfing, and camping.
