Amy Bell said - "It felt great to be selected especially in the current circumstances. It is something good that has happened amongst everything going on in the world right now. I’ve just got to carry on working hard and hopefully get my name on the list for next year. I have swam at Sheffield since I first started and have progressed through the squads. I love swimming at Sheffield the atmosphere is great we all push each other and really challenge each other every session. The facilities are world class and it just makes turning up to training a lot easier. It is also great to be able to continue swimming at Sheffield and having the university so close by. As a dual athlete at Hallam they have been great in helping me manage my studies and swimming alongside each other. They provide academic flexibility to ensure that I can still complete my studies even while training for major competitions such as British Champs. I am also able to manage my S&C around my studies as Hallam provide the facilities to be able to do this."
Congratulations to all our students, both past and present! We can't wait to support you all!
