The Women's Lacrosse Club have a 1st and 2nd Team - both frequently competitng in BUCS league matches - and a Development Team for new lacrosse players who want to develop their skills in friendly matches and tournaments throughout the year. Lacrosse is a fast pace, highly skilled and phsyical sport which growing rapidly in the UK. Redardless of the player's abilities, the club opens its arms to new and experienced players. The Development Training is for new players, specifically designed to be easy going and fun away from the experienced players as this can be scary! These training sessions are only for new players to the sports, helping them learn skills and rules of the game. New players are also able to borrow equipment whilst they get an understanding of the game. If the coach thinks you're able enough and ready, players will then be invited to train with the 2nd team, and maybe even the 1st team. Training is on a weekday evening at Sheffield Hallam Sports Park on Bawtry Road. The 1st and 2nd team train separately the majority of the time, but sometimers the sessions are mixed with both teams. Home matches are also played at the Sports Park on Wednesday afternoons.
